Dr. Kristijana Rakic

Through years of private practice, corporate wellness and community health programs, Naturopathic Doctor Kristijana Rakic has witnessed massive transformations in the health, vitality and disease prevention in her community.

Those that have worked with Dr. Kristijana Rakic often refer to her as Dr. K. Dr. K is best known for her caring, professional nature and her balanced, practical and sustainable approach to treating illness and optimizing health.

Dr. K is a strong advocate of prevention and health optimization. She is enthusiastic about educating and empowering her patients and corporate clients to understand and maintain a healthier lifestyle. She is eager to work with individuals who are ready to take charge of their health. With a strong lifestyle-focused practice, Dr. K has been certified in First Line Therapy (FLT) to deliver the best quality of care to her patients. FLT is a lifestyle program that helps individuals lose weight and maintain an optimal body composition. Optimal health and body composition are essential to the treatment of serious health problems such us obesity, diabetes, arthritis, cardiovascular disease, hormonal imbalances, cancer and much more. In addition to chronic disease, Dr. K also specializes in detoxification, digestive health, and the treatment of stress, anxiety and insomnia.

Dr. K graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Science degree in Kinesiology and went on to receive her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine diploma after completing four years of post-graduate medical education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Presently, she holds a private practice in her hometown of Waterloo, Ontario and is working with small family businesses, large corporations and the public sector to deliver workplace wellness programs.

Dr. K is licensed in Ontario through the Board of Drugless Practitioners (BDDT-N). She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
